Green pepper

Uganda is a place that receives plenty of sunlight and has well draining soils and Pepper farming  requires warm temperatures, fertile soils, rich in organic matter, this has encouraged commercial farming of green pepper. This is bell pepper which is known by Ugandans is green in color and it is used in making salads and cooking in almost every household, hotel and restaurants in the country.

We first plant the green pepper in the nursery bed before they are planted in the main garden, we clear our land using the modern methods of framing such as the use of tractors. After the removal of the weed, we plough the land twice and add fertilizers to the soil before planting.
